Two Months!

Our precious daughter has been home two months today. She is adjusting well and feeling more and more like she belongs. I find that I can anticipate her attitudes and actions now in a way that I couldn’t a month ago. I am getting to know her on a deeper level.

Last night she crawled into bed with me, wrapped her arms around my neck, and nestled up against me. I whispered, “I love you so much” and she whispered, “I love you so, so much”. Then she squeezed me a little harder before drifting back off to sleep.

I’m living in the midst of a miracle.

    Oh, that is so sweet!

    It was so sweet, a couple of weeks ago she ran by me after church and shouted “Cristina! Cristina!” I love the way she says my name. She says it the way it should be pronounced, like the Mexicans do.

    You have a beautiful daughter.
