Soccer for All

A sister moment

Playing soccer during the dinner hour is wreaking havoc on my not-so-tidy schedule, but the girls are having a great time. I am SO pleased that they are loving it. I want my children to grow up physically active and confident in their strength. They don’t need to be great athletes, but I want them to be comfortable joining in sports and outdoor activities. The girls are talking about wanting to run a race with me, so I’m going to look into some short 5K fun runs we can do together this summer.

Honeybee

Ladybug is playing for the very first time and is having so much fun.

I mentor and encourage adoptive moms so you can find courage and hope in your journeys of loving your children well.

FUN! Are they all on the same team or differnt teams? Maree has enjoyed playing this spring, but like you commented on, it is time consuming. Hannah and Luke want to play, but I cant do 6 seperate practices and 3 different games each week….

how fun! i’m glad they love it, too..soccer is one of the best team sports, imo. funny..I was at soccer tonight, too, in my jeans, thick socks, longsleeve shirt, fleece sweater, down jacket, toque (that’s hat up here) mitts AND blanket..sigh. I grew up on the Oregon coast..what was I thinking falling in love with a boy from HERE?
what a great idea for the kids to run a 5K. so fun, and so good for them to get that physical fitness. have a great night.

So much fun! I’m looking forward to the next few years, when I can have my girls run with me! 🙂
