News about B.

I just got this wonderful email from a volunteer at B.’s orphanage. It is a great blessing to get more glimpses of our daughter.

“I am SO excited you are adopting B. She is one of my favorites and I think she is completely adorable. We have been joking about her for about a week now because last week, one of the other girls was braiding my hair, and B. decided to fix it. She moved all my bangs off my face and I asked her if I was konjo. She wrinkled up her little nose and shook her head. No. I am not pretty. It was pretty funny.

She is just precious, and is so affectionate. Every time I go over there, she snuggles right up to me. Her English also seems to be really good, and I have no problems talking to her at all. She is also very good at a game the volunteers call tatare, but is actually called something else we can’t remember. She taught me how to play, and was a very serious teacher. I am delighted that you are adopting her, for both your sakes.”

This completely made my day!
