On Monday I received a book to review and opened the package just before running out to pick Ladybug up. When I got home, Sunshine greeted me with excitement. “Mom,” she said, “We can make our own sparkle box! And we can fill it with special things we do for other people.” Her enthusiasm makes it simple to give a positive review of this book.
The Sparkle Box follows a boy, Sam, and his family as Christmas is approaching. His parents have placed a sparkly, silver box on the fireplace mantle and he is curious about it. When asked, they tell him it is a special gift they will open as a family, but they need to fill it first.
The message of The Sparkle Box is that kindness and generosity toward others brings light to the world and is the very best gift of Christmas.
My children are especially excited because a real Sparkle Box is included with the book. Your family can enjoy this book, and put a sparkle box under your tree too.

To win a copy of The Sparkle Box, leave a comment sharing a way you can give joy, and spread light during the Christmas season. You can get additional chances to win by Liking the FB page for The Sparkle Box and Liking mine, if you haven’t already. Please leave a separate comment for each entry.
I will announce the winner tomorrow morning! It’s a short and sweet giveaway because I want the winner to receive their copy of The Sparkle Box before Christmas if possible.
If you don’t win, consider buying a copy for your own collection of Christmas books or for a fantastic gift.
Thank you for your continued prayers for our family. We have some important meetings coming up in the next couple of days and are pleading with God to show us exactly what he wants us to do. My heart…I can’t even put my thoughts into words…
