Giveaway: Adoption Rocks!

I love giveaways, but I don’t do many. My problem lies in the fact that I have a very hard time getting to the post office. Ann, who won my last giveaway, waited a ridiculously long time for her prize to arrive; fortunately she is a gracious (and busy) woman, who genuinely didn’t mind. At least that is what she told me.

This giveaway is the very best kind of all, because it is for my friend, Marisa and she will mail the prize to the lucky winner. Perfect. I also asked Marisa to write about herself and her great prizes and this is what she had to say:

We are adopting a little girl from Ethiopia and are selling Adoption Rocks Tote Bags and T-Shirts to help off-set our costs. The totes are natural colored canvas bags and they are SUPER durable. They are perfect for grocery shopping, carrying around odds and ends, or heading to the beach (a girl can dream)! The shirts are super soft and adorable for all members of the family.

YOU have a chance to win a tote bag and shirt in the size of your choice!

Be sure to visit Marisa’s blog to learn more about her life, family, and her passion to end human trafficking through the work of Eastside Women of Purpose.

The giveaway will end Friday night, May 14th. You can have up to four entries in the random drawing. Each one of the following is worth one entry:

  • Comment on this post with a link to one of your favorite blog posts you have either written or read.
  • Follow my Twitter account, @OneThankfulMom.
  • Tweet or blog about the giveaway using this link:
  • Subscribe to the RSS Feed. Be sure to comment to tell me that you subscribed.

As you all know from reading my blog, adoption does rock.  It may not be in the way you expect, but adoption will rock your world.  In the kindness of God, it is all good.

The giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Julie at 7900 Miles.

Let me introduce myself. Russ and I are the parents of twelve children by birth and adoption, and sometimes more through foster care. I'm the creator of One Thankful Mom which has been as much of a gift to me as to my readers. In 2011 I became a TBRI® Pracitioner* and have lived and breathed connected parenting ever since. I'm deeply honored to be the co-author, together with the late Dr. Karyn Purvis, of The Connected Parent; it is her final written work. I love speaking at events for adoptive and foster parents. I'm also the co-founder of The Adoption Connection, a podcast and resource site for adoptive moms. I mentor and encourage adoptive moms so you can find courage and hope in your journeys of loving your children well.
