Blessings upon Blessings

This morning at 5:20 AM, we got the call we had been waiting for! Denise from CWA called to tell us that our court date was successful and that E. and W. are now our little boys! We were so happy that we couldn’t go back to sleep, so I got up and came down to my computer where I found an email from my friend Joy. She is in Addis right now getting her two little girls. She took gifts to E. and W. and best of all, took lots of photos for us. Thank you Joy!

I’ve posted photos of both boys for you to enjoy. They are absolutely adorable. I am very comforted to see E. walking and looking healthy. When he came into care in August he was unable to walk due to malnutrition. W. looks good too, although we were told that he was taken to the doctor and that he is being treated for bronchitis.

For more photos of Addis, the CWA care center, and the children, you can go to Joy’s blog
It is wonderful to watch the story of her journey to her children unfold.

We feel especially blessed to have received this good news and 22 photos all on the same day!

We are now waiting to be assigned our embassy date which will determine when we travel.

From a very happy Mamma.
