A Little Love Goes a Long Way

After our church service, three different people came to me and told me that the Lord had been bringing me to their minds and they have been praying for me. I cried to hear it. Just when I have been so discouraged, God has been calling on people to pray for me. He sustains me, even when I don’t know He is doing it. Amazing.

One friend said, “Lisa, do not grow weary while doing good,” referring to a great passage in Galations:

Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

I have grown weary and been discouraged, but my hope has been renewed today.

After church Dimples went straight to the art supplies and made a card for me. The front says, “I love you Mommy”, which is pretty fabulous all by itself. But the crowning joy is on the inside:

“I love you Mommy much

    As a suggestion:
keep it in your bible, as a marker for your daily reading and remember Dimples on the day she gave that to you. I do this with my children, I have all sorts of things I keep in my bible from each one of them, everytime I pull one out I offer up praises and prayers of thanks for the good days. I also thank him for equipping me for the hard job of being a mommy! There are days it is the hardest job ever, but oh how rewarding it is on those good days.

Your daughter’s card is so precious. Isn’t God wonderful in how He can send just the right thing at the right time when we need it most. Praying for you. Becky

That is beautiful Lisa!! Sounds like a card that needs to hang on the fridge, as a daily reminder 🙂
