I think the writers of the Star Trek theme would argue that a split infinitive worked for them. "To boldly go…."

Split infinitives are over-rated. There's some question of whether or not they are even a problem.

I am so glad that you so generously share your blog with all of us. I have gained so much help from you, especially in working with one of our little, adopted daughters who struggles.
