The sun is coming up on a brand new day. I am the only one up on this quiet morning. My head hurts a little from the short night of sleep, but yesterday was a good day and I am ready for today. We’re gathering after church to celebrate Samuel’s birthday. Last night Ladybug made Frango Mint Pie while I made lasagna. The spring birthday season is kicking off!

A weekend with our oldest son on his college campus, peaceful days amongst our children, spring break vacation time as a family, an amazing adoptive community who I find encouragement, love and support from, the daily grace, mercy and love of my Heavenly Father.
Thankful for a short walk with my son Cameron to pick up stickerballs before we went to church. Thankful that he is home on IV pump and he's alive today! Each day is a gift now :)
A good first meeting with new foster kids, sending my oldest off on a class trip to Washington DC, packing for a return trip to Haiti this week, a refreshing time in church this morning, and my sweet husband cooking dinner tonight!
