Boo has been asking me, for at least a year, to change her blog nickname. Apparently “Boo” is a baby name, which is probably why I like it so much. With the advent of my new blog, I have decided it is time to let her grow up. From here on out I will do my best to refer to Boo as Sunshine.
Sunshine and I spend a lot of time together, especially as we homeschool. She likes to pull her little table up next to my desk so we can work side-by-side; I like having her next to me. She is a wonderful big sister to Eby and Little Man, and encourages them in all manner of creative play, such as the “Puppy Game.”
At seven she is still missing her top front teeth, which is mighty cute. She loves to read, sing, and play the piano. Best of all, she loves me and it is a joy to be her Mommy.

My middle's blog name is Boo. He's 4, so it hasn't occured to him that it's babyish. But Sunshine, might have to be baby #4's (an AAI ET baby girl) nickname since that is a favorite song in our home (my last post is a canvas of that song for my hubby)

I had to comment. I know you shouldnt have favourites….but your little Boo (oops Sunshine) just tugs at my heart strings. She is such an adorable little angel. I think Boo suits her perfectly as she is such a little cutie…….but looking at that smile – she is a little ray of sunshine! XX

oh she is a sweetie. :) Our 2.5 year old, Ezri, has always been 'boo', ezri boo, boo bear…you get the picture. Her song (sung every single night) is 'you are my sunshine'…the two just go together. :)
I'll probably always call Sunshine "Boo boo ba doo". I can't help myself.

Your Sunshine has always been dear to my heart as I have read your blog. She reminds me of my Goosie who is slightly younger than our daughter from Ethiopia (who reminds me of Dimples). Love the new name & her sweet smile.
