I have a Post-it note scribbled with little items that I need to write about, so this post is a means of crossing them all off my list!

In no particular order, here we go:

  • If you live in the Northwest, or can afford to travel there, don’t forget to register for the Raising Resilient Rascals Conference presented by Deborah Gray, the UW Adoption Medicine folks, and lots of other good people.  For more information, take a look at my earlier post.
  • Don’t forget to leave a comment on my [intlink id="1602" type="post"]SpellQuizzer post[/intlink] to automatically be entered in my Give-away for your own copy of SpellQuizzer.  It really is fantastic.
  • State Farm has a nifty, free site called Thanks For Being There where you can leave a message thanking someone for just about anything.  You can upload a photo, video, or text and then share the link with the recipient – your link can even be uploaded via Facebook, Twitter, or the other social networks.  Here is one that I think is nice. It could be fun to leave a thankful Valentine message for somebody you love.
  • Be sure to leave a comment on this week’s Tuesday Topic!  I would love to hear from you.

I think that is it!

Russ and I have six kids to tuck in,  a meeting with one of our college kids, and then we are going to kick back and watch LOST on our computer.  One day late works just fine for us.  I am missing my bookgroup once again, but sometimes it just isn’t possible to get out the door after dinner.

Next time book group needs to get on the to do list. We had to do the Ethiopia pictures without you. And Amy made these amazing coffee drinks.

I'm so sad to have missed it! Next month I have to come because I chose the book, Same Kind of Different as Me. It will be hard to facilitate the discussion if I don't show up.

Off topic, but do you have any idea how I can subscribe to your blog? I used to follow on blogger, and that was easy b/c I could just go to my dashboard each day and see the new posts by all the bloggers I follow. Can I subscribe to your posts via email? I keep forgetting to check in here for new posts and your blog is too good to miss!

    Renee,

Thank you so much for asking. It took us a little while to realize that my RSS subscribers (e.g. Google Reader) could not find my new blog. We are working on a way to let everyone know how to find the new site and resubscribe. In the meantime, you can do it by entering this address in your RSS reader:

    Thank you again,

    Lisa

Lisa, I'm not sure what you did, but the posts are showing up in my Blogger dashboard again, so thank you!!!
I admit to being a bit slow at figuring out the RSS thing… will have to work on figuring that out.

It took awhile to figure it out, but our friend Nathan fixed it late Thursday night. I hope my subscribers find their way here!
