The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger;

Isaiah arrived from Seattle at 8:00 on Christmas Eve and we immediately sat down to dinner. The table was set with goblets,cloth napkins, and Advent candles. As we gathered, we realized there was an empty seat – we paused, then somebody said, “Oh, we set a place for Dimples.” It was a sad moment for all of us.
Russ and I are on our way to see Dimples today. Please pray for her, for us, and for the team of people involved. Having a crisis over a holiday adds an additional layer of complication since we are unable to reach some key people.
I hope your Christmas was wonderful.

We put this on our card last year. The words meant more than I had ever processed before. You all have been so heavy on my heart. I am praying. Wish with all my heart I could offer something but in many ways, I know prayer is the most coveted gift. There is hope for the weary! Praying!
